Social Bookmarking is a free and wonderful way to share your web pages with the world and become part of a gigantic network of people with similar interests to yours, whether business or personal. It makes it easy for members of social bookmarking websites to find your business by searching keywords. There are many, many of these sites and it's important to get your web pages on as many of them as you can. The more exposure the better.

Social Networking may be the single most important online marketing activity you could engage in as a business owner. Internet Marketing Tips - Don't Insult Your Prospect's Intelligence

What you're about to read is a true story. You can't make stuff like this up. After reading it, I don't know what your take on it is going to be but in my mind, this is just insulting your prospect's intelligence. Some might not see it that way, and that's fine. But to me, if you want to be taken seriously as a marketer, this is not the way to do it. I'm not going to mention any names in this article, but when you read it, you will probably figure out the site I am talking about.

I belong to a solo ads club where we get credit for viewing other members' solo ads. Anyway, this morning, just before I am actually writing this, I got to this one solo ad that had the subject line, "Grab A Cash Pig". At first I thought to myself, "Are you kidding?" Certainly this was a joke. Well, I always read all my solo ads because I want to get my credits so that I can send my own solo ads. Anyway, I clicked on the link and the first thing I am greeted to on the page is a photo of a pig holding what looks like a bag of money.

Now, the graphic alone wouldn't have made me think the site was so bad, even though it was a start. But then I took a look at the rest of the site and it looked like a third grader put it together. No offense to third graders. I sat there for a moment and tried to figure out what this person was thinking when he put this site together. I mean, does he really think that people have so little intelligence that they'll sign up for this thing? Is that what this world has come to?

Now I know that some of you might be thinking that something like this is cute and not such a big deal. However, we're talking about making money online. This isn't a game and it's not an amusement park. If I'm going to get myself involved in a biz op, which mind you I don't believe in anyway, I'm at least going to sign up with something that at the very least looks legit. This was the most horrible looking site I have ever seen. What person with any intelligence would go for it?

If you're going to put together a biz up for people to get involved in, please put together something that at least looks professional. And if you're thinking of joining one of these, please at least join one that doesn't look like something out of a Mickey Mouse cartoon.

If you've been in this business for a while, you've seen it. Big time marketers moving the free line...big time. They're giving information away for free that most people make us pay for. This makes it so that in order to compete in this business you have to give an awful lot of value away just to make a sale. Well, if you haven't given this much thought yet, maybe you should. And maybe you should think about how YOU are going to move YOUR free line. This article will give you some suggestions.

Let's start with that free report that you're giving away to build your opt in list. Most free reports are 10 to 20 pages, if that. Why not double the size of your report and really put some dynamite quality content in it. I have one report that is a complete tutorial on how to do niche research. Most people charge for these books. I won't mention any products by name because I don't want to embarrass anybody. But really, this info should be free. Everybody should know how to do niche research to at least have a fighting chance.

Okay, let's move on to your products and services. What about your membership site? How about having a 3 month free membership instead of just 30 days? Why not? Think you won't get more people to try it out? And if you give them really great content each month, think more people won't stick around longer, thus bringing you in more income in the long run? I think this would be a great idea. But how many people would be gutsy enough to try it? I haven't seen one of these yet. Perhaps you could be the first one.

What about your software? How about letting people try it for free for 90 days instead of 30 days? Better yet, why not just let them have a stripped down version of it that they can use forever if they want? You know, Wordtracker, which is one of the best keyword research tools, is free to use forever. Now, the free version doesn't provide as many keywords as the paid, but it's still a very useful tool. This is a great example of moving the free line. Imagine if we had to pay to do niche research.

The problem is, too many marketers work off of a scarcity mindset. They think if they give too much away, people won't buy. The truth is, the more you give away, the more they're likely to buy because they'll think your paid info must be fantastic.

It drives me crazy when I see marketers struggling with things that they just have no business even trying to do. We can't all be experts at everything when it comes to marketing our products. Even I can't do it all and believe me, I've tried. The key is to concentrate on the things that you're good at and have others do the rest for you. First we have to look what goes into creating a product, service or whatever. Let's take an ebook. Well, you have the creation of the ebook, the sales page, the graphics for the sales page, the squeeze page to collect opt ins, the ads you write, the articles you write, and the list goes on and on. There are many things needed in order to get your product out there. Now, how many of those tasks are you REALLY good at? I can honestly say that my graphic creation skills are not the best. I can get by, but if I'm going to put out a product with a $497 price tag, then I better get myself a darn good graphic designer so that my site LOOKS like it's worth $497 a pop. Appearance is everything in this business...trust me.

Once we've figured out what we can do and can't do, we have to then start looking for those people who are going to fill in the blanks. The best place to go is the Warrior Forum. The reason is because there are people there with all kinds of skills and as a fellow Warrior, they'll be more than happy to give you a great deal on something. Heck, I had a set of graphics done for me for nothing because the guy was a fan of mine. Now how can you beat a deal like that? You can't. Okay, I'm not saying you're going to get free offers there, but some people, from time to time, actually DO offer their services for nothing. So why not take advantage of their generosity? I'm sure you'll return the favor with your own skills.

Point is, if you can't do it all yourself, get help. Otherwise, your product is going to suffer and in turn so will your profits.
